So, I drank,
And I drank
And I drank a little bit more.
Friday's come,
Weekends here,
Time to pass out on the floor.

Emptiness
It is the pain behind your eyes,
That has caught my attention.
The flicker,
The flash,
The gaze into the lonely distant.
It is the emptiness of the words you speak,
That has made me listen.
The sigh,
The pause,
The hollowness and the lack of rhythm.
Tell me your thoughts,
For I can barely fathom.
A motive,
A reason,
The sadness that greets every question.
Tell me my friend,
What have you become?
For the mirror,
It reflects,
A different person.
That has caught my attention.
The flicker,
The flash,
The gaze into the lonely distant.
It is the emptiness of the words you speak,
That has made me listen.
The sigh,
The pause,
The hollowness and the lack of rhythm.
Tell me your thoughts,
For I can barely fathom.
A motive,
A reason,
The sadness that greets every question.
Tell me my friend,
What have you become?
For the mirror,
It reflects,
A different person.

Hunger
To fight the dead,
To stay awake.
To live the dream,
In every way.
To touch the stars,
And fly away.
Hunger, my friend,
Will lead the way.
To stay awake.
To live the dream,
In every way.
To touch the stars,
And fly away.
Hunger, my friend,
Will lead the way.

Stagnant
Stagnant, like a pool of water
After a hard monsoon rain.
Stagnant, like a flag
With no wind to help it sway.
Stagnant, like a block
Submerged to the watery depths.
Stagnant, my life has become
In this dreary modern age.
After a hard monsoon rain.
Stagnant, like a flag
With no wind to help it sway.
Stagnant, like a block
Submerged to the watery depths.
Stagnant, my life has become
In this dreary modern age.

Waiting
The leaves are starting to fall
As the summer draws to an end.
I try to catch a few,
While, I sit alone on the faded park bench.
Fast has the time passed
Long has it been.
Yet, the distance never closes
Between you and me, it seems.
How are you?
How have you been?
Know that I am still waiting for you,
My lover, my friend.
As the summer draws to an end.
I try to catch a few,
While, I sit alone on the faded park bench.
Fast has the time passed
Long has it been.
Yet, the distance never closes
Between you and me, it seems.
How are you?
How have you been?
Know that I am still waiting for you,
My lover, my friend.

The Pact
Same time,
Same place,
We will meet again,
Someday.
Same time,
Same place,
This pact we make,
Today.
Same time,
Same place,
Remember me,
My young friend.
Same place,
We will meet again,
Someday.
Same time,
Same place,
This pact we make,
Today.
Same time,
Same place,
Remember me,
My young friend.

Do you know how I died?
Do you know how I died?
It was but a simple lie,
To take the hand
And close my eye,
Trust myself to paradise.
Listen, to the old and wise
For they have seen it all
With their very eyes.
The labyrinths, the traps
The pretty disguise
"Be careful, young one, you're just a child."
What did I know to have a dream
But to utter the sound of a silent scream.
Shatter and break,
It goes down the stream.
Run and hide,
To run and hide.
"Alas, my child it was all a lie."
Now, do you know how I died?
It was but a simple lie,
To take the hand
And close my eye,
Trust myself to paradise.
Listen, to the old and wise
For they have seen it all
With their very eyes.
The labyrinths, the traps
The pretty disguise
"Be careful, young one, you're just a child."
What did I know to have a dream
But to utter the sound of a silent scream.
Shatter and break,
It goes down the stream.
Run and hide,
To run and hide.
"Alas, my child it was all a lie."
Now, do you know how I died?

So little time
So little time
I am here today
I'll pass by the coming day
But I had a good time
With so little time.
Kantipur
Our words have failed you
Our actions has killed you
Our selfishness and pride
Has done nothing but hurt you.
Our vision has blinded you
Our fire has burnt you
Once united now divided
We the people have finished you.
Yet you stand on your feet
Kantipur, you never have admitted defeat.
With my words I will commit,
To rid you of the people's selfish greed.
A new generation,
A new beat,
From the ashes shall rise the new Phoenix.
September, September
September, September
You, I remember.
I have marked you in my calender,
As I sit thousands of miles away.
I miss you dearly,
The tradition of Buns and Julebees
As we celebrated the birth of our HOMES
Together as one,
One voice,
One unity.
Hear the voices,
Floating through this cool breeze
Singing and theater
Mesmerize me again,
Like you once did.
September, Spetember..
I will always remember
The best moments in my life,
For my friends
The times spent together.
Tonight I will make a toast,
Joined by hands from around the globe,
With pride and dignity,
Happy Birthday, my dearest Alma mater, my HOMES..
Nostalgia
O' nostalgia, how you fill me.
Look at the kids,
Their heads swaying to the music.
Lost in time,
O' nostalgia, only on my mind.
A Broken Hearted Child
So much for the bread,
So much for the wine.
The truth is,
We will all die
A Broken Hearted Child....
Burning
Therein lies the fault from which I will never recover
I won't let my head drop, I will pick up my shoulders
Walk onto infinity
For the fire that burns,
Its still burning within me..
Nepal
I long for the moutains
I long for the valley,
I long for a cold soda
at the back of my favorite alley.
I long for the bike rides
I long for the overpriced taxi,
I even long for the overcrowded
bus rides through the city.
I long for the muddy roads,
I long for the cobbled stone roads,
I long for the buildings
built by my people of old.
I long for the night markets
The smell of momo wafting through the air,
As I long for the sarangi tune to fill my ear.
Nepal I will never forget the way
You've blessed me.
Wherever I am,
You will always be with me.
Where do the dead go?
Where do the dead go?
The faces of our youth
They are here no more.
Strange, is it not?
Just yesterday it seemed,
We were playing under the same sun with the same dreams.
Now they are gone,
Forever lost,
Fallen to the chimes of the ever spinning clock.
To meet again, maybe we will,
In a different world, with different dreams.
The time will come,
When I will feel the cold.
Only then will I know,
Where do the dead go?
Day and Night
I watched the night turn to day,
Here in my balcony.
My mind is tired,
My heart is heavy.
A weary soul,
In darks lonesome company.
Gathering my thoughts,
Thoughts of who I have been.
Who I am,
Who I might be.
Comforting....
Maybe,
Visions of unknown,
They never come easy.
My time here is up
Tomorrow will take me.
Memories and thoughts,
Tonight, they wake me.
Let me bask in this state of eternal glory,
As I watch the night turn to day
Here in my balcony.
Zombies of the night
Staggering they walk,
Zombies of the night
People I know,
Out of their respective minds.
Funny how they see,
A different world
But I am no saint,
Numerous times I have been down that road.
Its a place I escape to,
Whenever I am alone,
In its arms I find solace
A room where only I go.
The abyss,
The lair,
My humble abode.
The king of this land,
I am my own.
A zombie,
A fiend,
Monsters galore.
Out of my mind
Staggering to walk
In the world of my own.
Breakdown
Slowly I feel it,
Creeping behind me.
The germs in my head,
Causing disarray, united.
My eyes it lies,
False alarm, being sighted.
My hands they tremble,
Decision's divided.
My faith lies in ruins,
Like a jukebox, silent.
My heart is bound
Immune to helpless frown,
Here it comes, without a sound.
The germs in my head happily prance around.
Slowly I feel it, Breakdown.
